From OpenWiz
A number of 3rd parties have developed software or other useful resources for use with the Beyonwiz range of PVRs. Here are links to some of their work:

- List of all TV codes supported by the BR-01 Remote Control.
- BW Firmware Identifier
- Helps identify wrp firmware files after they've been renamed or had their background changed. Just drag and drop a wrp file onto the application's window.
- Remote Updater
- Remote Updater for recovering from a bad firmware update via an Ethernet cable.
- BW Background Changer
- Allows Windows users to easily change the background image in their Beyonwiz's Menus.
- Add-Remove .ts
- Adds or removes .ts extensions to all the 32MB tvwiz files so they can be played in VLC or any media playing software that supports playing .ts files. It can now also combine all the 32MB parts into one large .ts file - by creating a new merged file in the same directory as the 32MB parts files.
- Wiz Firmware Tools
- Win32 firmware unpacking and repacking tools. Instructions, source and GPL licence included. Currently supports the Australian DP-S1, DP-P1, DP-P2, DP-H1 and FV-L1. May also work on Finnish FT-P1, FT-H1, FC-P1 and FC-H1. Used by BWFWTools.
- getWizPnP
- Command-line Perl program for Windows, Cygwin, Liunux & OS X that downloads recordings and media files from the Beyonwiz, and can also copy Beyonwiz recordings and media files on the host computer.
- BWFWTools
- A set of Perl scripts for manipulating Beyonwiz firmware in various hopefully useful ways. Needs Wiz Firmware Tools to install on Mac OS X and Linux. Wiz Firmware Tools binaries for Windows native and Windows Cygwin included in package.
- wizremote
- By Eric Fry- Set timers on your beyonwiz remotely via the web.
- wiztimerd
- By Tonymy01- Set timers on your wiz based on keywords, from a PC or SLUG etc. Based on perlTGD for the Topfield 5K, and uses Eric's wizremote running on the Beyonwiz to do the timer setting.
- rtv2kml
- Convert ACMA Radio & TV station data into Google Earth placemarks.
- arm2html
- Windows command-line disassembler for ARM processor. Useful for disassembling Beyonwiz binaries. The original homepage link is no longer available.
- WizPlayer
